i'm not so sure that a 3D-less 3DS is ever released but it is an interesting OP.
i'm really curious to see how the 3DS sells over the long term. i personally love 3D but everything i've seen is the mainstream is loseing/has lost interest in 3D for the most part, at least as far as movies go. if true, i wonder who will be excited about the 3DS.
