It's good to see the notion that 3rd parties can't succeed on Wii be put to rest more and more, first with Resident Evil 4, along with Monster Hunter Tri, Carnival Games, Guitar Hero, Just Dance, and now Epic Mickey. If third parties just put the effort and care into the games, the sales will come. Epic Mickey clearly had great effort put into it, desipte it not quite being AAA. |
Eh on artistic merit it'd be 'AAA' ten times over and the reviewers that liked that such as Adam Sessler gave it glowing reviews. The people that don't see and understand deeper meanings in mediums like video games... those guys blew it off sadly...
The main thing that would have boosted scores was fixing the wonky camera, it's not a terrible camera but it could have had improvements.
