Polk managed to fulfill all of his campaign promises. Now that was a good president.

At least he did not lie to us. The people knew what they were going to get when they signed him up(and he delivered), so he is great in my eyes.

Well, keeping a promise doesn't make one a good president. Like, keeping the promise of murdering babies wouldn't be good.

If we voted him into office because he promised that he would kill babies, by jove, he better kill babies lol.
