So the PS3 will likely catch right back up to where it left off before the holidays with the X360 because of shortages then ...interesting.

Keep in mind that PS3 (or basically all consoles in Japan other than 360) will have relatively high sales compared to EU and NA for probably another week before it comes down to the post holiday level. Japan's big gift giving event is New Year money that families give kids, rather than Christmas.

Yeh I know but once things level off in Japan its still going to give the PS3 a 25K - 35K advantage on the X360 and not to mention the PS3's always gonna have the advantage in EMEAA, 35K this week. AND then there's the big exclusives coming up within the next couple months.

The PS3 could be pulling some big numbers during this time of shortages for the X360.
