It is crap, you need send them a console with the hardrive working, if you Wii breaks and the memory is buggered you are screwed, if your consle is stolen you are screwed, if you buy a second console for use elsewhere you are screwed. You cannot trade in an old model to fund a new one either since you need both in working order to send off. Screwed. |
You are either seriously lying, or misinformed.
THAT IS NOT TRUE.
If your Wii breaks, and you call Nintendo's consumer service, they will setup a repair for you and have you ship it in. If they find that they are not able to repair your Wii, they will replace it, give you a new one year warranty, AND TRANSFER ALL OF THE CONTENT OVER. If you decide on your own to buy a brand new $200 machine instead of paying the $80 to Nintendo to have it repaired, well then yeah you may not be able to have your content transferred over. That's why smart people (like me) call Nintendo directly and have them take care of everything for me. Again, either you are just straight up lying or you just are completely misinformed. I hope it's the latter and not the former.
