Mortal Combat is losing the name recognition of DC while MvC3 will have Marvel's brand name and Street Fighter as well as other capcom characters. I think MvC3 will win. Not to mention it is a long awaited sequel where as MK is just the latest in a franchise people know but don't get too excited for. I think what will keep it close though is the fact that MK will be on sale for $40 after 2 months while MvC3 will stay at $60 for more than twice as long.
