Hold it. He talks about Move and Kinect without downplaying them!? Oh Reggie...

*disappointed*

He does slightly downplay MOVE by saying the software is "all the same"

Other than that...no fireworks

obviously he doesnt consider core games as real games, gamers dont play them, just grand pas and moms.

Um, there aren't really any such games on the Move right now. Or if there are already, they aren't really being hyped, and a lot of us haven't heard that there are.

resident evil 5 and heavy rain move editions say hello. theyr not move exclusive games, but they are move games considering they made a move edition.

so if a game isnt hyped or known its not a counted? that means that what 20 wii games came out this year?

They don't say that, since they didn't come out to be used with the Move. They were only patched later, even with the retail releases. Name a "core" game out right now that came out with Move compatibility right away. I know Killzone 3 will have it, but it's not out yet. I also know the latest SOCOM game has it, but I don't know if it's out yet.

And if a game isn't hyped or known, it's not a matter of it counting. It's a matter of people not knowing about it. If Reggie didn't know about the game, you can't blame him for therefor not metioning it.

but its still counted as a move game. as you can play it using move.

true, reggie isnt an obssesed gamer like us to know about every game.

"Can" does not make something that when it wasn't part of it to begin with. It just means "can in certain editions".

thats why i said resident evil 5 and heavy rain move editions.

Those aren't really Move games, but patches for it, even if they have separate releases.

I'm not just arguing semantics, since I should have stated this earlier. I'm arguing from the POV of people who don't try to look at all the gaming info. They don't see those as Move games, since those were not released as such. This includes Reggie, who at least knows to keep up with this information.

Thus it doesn't matter if the editions have controls, they are not seen as Move games. A Move game from the ground up will likely have the hype and marketing, which is what's needed for most gamers to see it as such.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
