Reggie doesn't seem nervous at all.

I guess Nintendo isn't worried about its motion control competition

Why would he worry? That would be like Walt Disney worrying about the popularity of Mickey Mouse after the late introduction of Bugs Bunny. The originator usually has little to fear. At this point, Nintendo is riding a wave built on a positive consumer image and a strong brand. Industry insiders and journalists may scoff at the Wii, but consumers and stock holders are in love with the device. The popularity of the Kinect or Move will have little effect on the Wii. All Christmas long, at multiple Best Buy stores, all I saw were people crowding the Wii section. It is still the best bang for your buck, and most people know what to expect, because chances are, they know someone who already has one. The Kinect and the Move are still "unknowns." Also, they still cost more for the initial investment. Even the Xbox 360 that comes with a Kinect will run you $100 more than the current Wii bundles that all come with games (Wii Sports and New Super Mario Bros. Wii, or Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort). Nintendo hasn't even had a price drop yet. Imagine what will happen when the Wii goes down to $170, especially if it is still bundled with Wii Sports.
