Say Epic Mickey makes 3 million. That puts it at 27th place in terms of sales on the Wii. Big Brain Academy, Mario & Sonic Winter, Mario & Sonic Summer, Carnival Games, Wii Party, Link's Crossbow Training, Just Dance, Mario Party 8 and Wii Play all sold less.

9 of the titles that outsold it were worse by gamerankings, 17 were better.


That's actually my point. The reviews don't matter. Heck, I didn't just mean Wii games here. A lot of PS3, 360, PSP, and DS games with higher scores are going to be outsold by Epic Mickey, while games on all systems with lower scores sell better.



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
