1. Really? The fact that they are both Bond games released at the same time, also in lieu of a movie release (due to MGM having money troubles) isn't enough reason to compare them? Plus the comparisons have been going on well before this thread.
2. Completely different? Perspective and different gameplay mechanics doesn't make them completely different. And Gears of War shows the line between TPS and FPS can be very blurry. Actually, games like SOCOM do as well.
3.Where was I denying that? The point is why it's selling better than Blood Stone on all its systems combined, not merely selling well on its own.
4. That doesn't matter. Many were claiming the Blood Stone was the "consolation prize" for those systems, which is almost unheard of with those systems. They are seen as the inferior games, while Black Ops is seen as the inferior game on the Wii, and thus sales are favoring what is seen as the superior game.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
