Like I said, show the post where I defended piracy and not homebrew.

You're the one who made the accusation.

"This is why the whole issue of piracy is overblown. Black Ops was pirated in 2010 more than MW2 was pirated in 2009 if I am not mistaken, but isn't it outselling it in the same span?"

This is trying to justify theft.

How about this one, I am playing on the opposite side that I believe in. I do not support piracy but just wanted to see if I can justify it.

Anyways the succession of piracy launched consoles like the PSX and PS2 to worldwide success, since now more users have the ability to play pirated games for cheap, since local markets are overvalued in price. Namely in (re)developing nations like those in Eastern Europe. Which leads to growth (in hardware) and in the future when brand becomes of value leads to growth (in software).

This is not how it works.  See ethomaz's post on the previous page (previous age for me anyway).

I still think PS3 brand recognition success world wide at least in developing nations can be attributed to the market that was created by mod ready ps2s and psx. At least that is what I saw in South Asia, but really piracy is worthless unless you want to play something that you can't due to inaccessibility.
