Against the grain: Why 2010 is the best year for VGChartz newcomers

Anyhow, 2007 was the best year for newcomers.  Amp316 joined that year and that guy is fantastic.  Too bad that he doesn't post as much as he used to.

It's weird to think this though. After all, if you think about it, isn't this the year when VGChartz split into 3? I didn't like it at first, and maybe that's the reason a lot of people left...

Yes, it is the year that VGChartz was made into a hub.  I think that is one of the factors why many people left.  That and the fact that it looks like Facebook. 

I personally liked the last layout the best, but the new look and feel to the site isn't isn't what's made me visit it less.  I just think that overall, the discussions haven't been as enjoyable.  People just seem to be taking things way too seriously and I prefer things to be fun.
