well it might have sold more but would have been far less profitable. I'm pretty sure they decided to make a wii exclusive game because its much cheaper to develop games for the wii. Though i really do wish it came out on the ps3. One of the big reasons i bought 1. =/
Honestly I don't see monster hunter 4 not releasing on the psp2 especially considering how well three is doing. Though the one thing that makes it seem slightly plausible is that the psp2 is suppose to be nearly as powerful as the ps3. Maybe they feel it will be very expensive to develop the game for the psp2 and it would be more profitable to do so on the 3ds. I don't see 4 releasing on both systems though. They are too different from a hardware perspective just like how you don't see games on the hd systems with none watereddown ports for the wii.
