It may, but it's too early to tell. If Halo Reach sales are uninterupted by another Halo for the next 2 years, it will likely sell a little above Halo 3, but 343 Studios promised a new Halo every year, so sales may be cut off. Most likely this will still be a 10 million plus seller, maybe even 12 million plus, but who knows. COD owns the HD market, I wonder how Modern Warfare 3 will fare.

Yeah it'll be interesting to see whether MW3 will even improve upon the sales of BLops, But I am not 100% sure about that though considering like 3/4 of the Infinity Ward staff walked out, including like the "main dudes", so it all comes down to whether all the little kids that snap up cod are aware that the developers have changed, which will be interesting to see, worst case scenario Treyarch will be forced to churn out another COD with only a year of development, which will just fail COD overall. I am genuinely interested how it will fare over the next few years, especially with "yearly" release. 

 

And yeah apparently there might be a surprise Combat Evolved remake unveiling, which will be just AWSUM, considering that was like one of my most played games on PC, including CSS.

Yes I've heard about the rumour of a Halo 1 remake, and it would be a great game for 343 Studios to start Halo with. Adding moments to connect Halo Reach to the game, like maybe a hint at some other escaped spartans, or a prologue mission with Master Cheif on Reach would be awesome. This may cut off Reach sales because the Halo Remake will have online competitive play, but even then Reach should still acheive 10 million sales, it's already at 7 and the holiday season isn't even over.

CoD will also be interesting to follow, I think CoD and Halo are both going downhill saleswise from this point. CoD in 2012 might still do well, but I dunno about MW3. A rumored Halo 4 launching on the 360 in 2012 could also top sales for 360 exclusives, and depending on quality a Halo Remake could do phenominally well too.

That is unless Kinect Adventures tops everything, which fearfully....it might.
