Wii will have greater sales than DS because DS's sales will be split a little between 3DS and DS. Wii will have a price cut and zelda to really help them in 2011. PSP and PSP2 will hurt each other's sales. PSP2 will not be higher than PSP because PSP2 will probably come late in the year. PS2 will still be chugging alone. 360 sales and PS3 sales will be neck to neck.
What do you think?
EDIT: Sorry i think PS360 will sell better than 3DS whoops |
No, I disagree, 3DS will sell a crapload, DS will lose steam as soon as the 3DS launches, think 360-XBox but not to that extent. Wii will sell well as usual, it'll get a price drop and continue to outsell all other home consoles on a WW basis, PSP will also get a price drop, but it won't do much to get it out of last place, PS2 is dead in all countries but the developing countries will still keep it alive, the PS2 will also get a price drop to give it one last hurrah and to keep it selling in developing and 3rd world countries, 360 will continue to sell gangbusters, Gears 3 will be a system seller as will Star Wars and Harry Potter Kinect, the 360 will also get a price drop. PS3 will get a price drop and a revised Slim 2.0 version. It'll sell extremely well in the EU and in JP, but still struggle in the US. The PSP2/PSPhone/whatever is a non factor and dead on arrival due to smartphones and the 3DS.
So, with that said, it'll go:
3DS>>>>Wii>DS>360>PS3>>>>>>>>PS2>PSP>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>PSP2
Order above is dependent on the following by next Fall:
3DS = U$250
Wii = U$149 with one game
DS = U$99
360 = U$149 for the Arcade, U$249 for the Elite/Arcade Kinect bundle, U$299 for Elite Kinect bundle
PS3 = Slim 2.0, U$199 for a 20GB SSD model, U$299 for 500GB standalone model/320GB Move bundle
PSP = U$129 for PSP3000, U$149 for PSP 3000 with game and memory stick, U$149 for PSP GO
PS2 = U$69.99
