I'm not disappointed, my "apology" post to Toastboy was all in good fun. Believe it or not I only care about games and couldn't give a rat's ass about sales.

They don't benefit me what so ever. It just makes for good talk.

I know what you mean. When the Wii stopped being #1 in weekly home console sales I couldn't be bothered to post in sales threads and enjoyed playing games instead. Now that the Wii is doing well again my interest in sales got renewed.

I will admit that for a while I paid attention to sales but then within the last 6months or so I found this love for lower selling titles. This made me realize how fucking retarded it is caring about sales and not about the games themselves.

The games I am talking about include titles such as:

 

Little King's Story

3D Dot Game Heroes

Split/Second

Nier

Trinity Universe

 

Meanwhile the super high selling GoTY winners like Red Dead, which I purchased day 1 have bored me to tears.

 

I have taken a "fuck sales and fuck reviews" approach, and to be honest I like it because it better reflects the gamer I have been since childhood. I have always played and enjoyed the games most people ignored.
