That's not defense. If you had strictly talked about Disney in recent years it would be. You brought stuff over ten years old, which invalidates that "defense".

? Only Goofy and Daffy Duck interest me from Disney.I do not like their current movies, nor their past ones. Same with cartoons. Nickolodean has better cartoons and characters. Can I make my opinion any clearer? Also, Disney's amusement parks are overrated . Not to mention Walt Disney eats  Cuban children.

How did I basically say "well do you agree they suck now?" Didn't you do something like this with one of my other posts on a separate thread? You made a false assumption about a phrase that I said and the meaning behind said phrase. You then looked at one word, completely ignoring the rest of what I said, throwing everything out of context. Besides, it was a ridiculous response to a ridiculous response where I was labeled insane because of my beliefs about a company who creates fictional characters. Also, honestly answer the question I asked in my previous post.  I defended myself by asking a question with a seemingly obvious answer over whether or not  anyone honestly is still interested in Disney (both their classic, and modern ips) and and their viewing habits of said content. Of course, I was generalizing, the same way most could claim noone prefers colorless tv, dial up internet, etc. although there will be one who claims they prefers/ likes it. If you just want me to tell why I dislike disney, I will tell you:

Horrendously boring characters: Minnie Mouse, Mickie Mouse, multiple princesses (they did not make most of these up although, they managed to make a boring story, just as boring in cartoon form), Bambi, Lilo, Stitch, Winnie the Pooh, etc

Their Vault

Their movies involving history are not even close to being correct and have caused some widespread misconceptions about historical events( Pochantas, Anastasia)

Reliance on female centered movies, tv shows.

Their ips are associated with subpar video games with  a few exceptions(Epic Mickey, KH, and supposedly Duck Tales)

Not to mention their buyout of Pixar and Marvel, which should have remained independent.

 Finally Walt Disney eats Cuban children

What once made Disney's movie great was the quality of Disney's work was incredible, Movies like Alice in Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White or Snow White stay around is because most people agree their great (even though Snow White has all the character of a tooth pick, and amazingly the prince has less),

Frankly you come off as a bit of an angsty teenager, I don't like it because its for children, Nicktoons with their bodily fluids humor or flat social plotical stories are better because they were contemporary in my youth, etc. It is the type of arguement one might hear from a 12 year old, but as an adult your rationale should be formed more distinctly. Boring stories? What makes them boring.  Even if you don't like something it isn't necessary to refuse to see things from perspectives outside your own.

Examples

I don't like any final fantasy past the first one, but I will admit the music, visuals, and art direction is consistently superb in the series

I don't like metal gear solid, because I find the controls to be poorly designed, the general gameplay and level design dull (I prefer stealth in which you are weak and being caught puts you in a desperate struggle, not throwing a few more gaurds out), and  the story seems ludicrous, But I can understand that other people prefer a focus on the type of stealth present in MGS and it would nullify level design complaints and some people like conspiracy stories

I'd take shining force over fire emblem any day because I prefer the art, music, and more "arcade" style gameplay, others like the challenge one misstep destroying a carefully planned

I find Koei's sim games terribly boring, I love the history part, but the player is too far removed from the action, but if you like management and macro conflicts they must be the best (I assume)

It isn't difficult to allow your opinion to be strong but allow other's there without becoming condescending

 

Also being bought out by disney is the best thing that could have happened to marvel considering how consistently mismanaged marvel tended to be, how long after Disney bought out marvel was Marvel vs. Capcom 3  announced? Xmen the arcade game was also rereleased, I doubt marvel would have ever allowed for that on their own according considering how far up their own butts their management tended to get

for pixar personally, don't care, if your concerned if it will effect pixar's style, has it? Personally I'd like to see disney drop the self improvement themes and go back to telling a story for its own sake and not for some overarcing thematics
