In the post-industrial world, population is generally growing very slowly or even shrinking. If I remember correctly, here in the U.K the population growth level is something like 0.4 and the likes of Germany and Japan are seeing their populations shrink. The countries growing fastest are not mass buyers of consoles, with the exception of the UAE.
