They are not creating new universes when they want to make new gameplay, but they stick new gameplay into their older series instead. Wich is a shame.
I'd love to see Nintnedo have Retro or Project Sora create a new game universe in a game with high production values. That would be interresting.
What worries me is Pikmin. The game was made by Miyamoto, yet it's sales were 'meh'. I hope Nintendo hasn't forgotten how to create games with new universes that sell a lot.
