I just finished too...
Those "Lost cartoons" were scary. O_o
And yes, the tower area is very different from the rest of the game. You have to really think of what you need to do in the next 10 feet, or you'll die very quickly. Some really good platforming elements though.
And getting the final bloticle to let go of Mickey's heart was tough! I probably died five times (no point in even trying to kill anything, just run and gun. 
)
And yes, the ending was great. Loved it! Although like you Mr. Khan, I had three anamatronic friends being terrorized by pirates/blotlings/lonliness at the end of the game. I'll hafta work on that tomorrow when I start again!
