Pokemon....it's just a handheld game. Maybe they could make a console game based around teh pokemon universe and actually do a good job....but core-pokemon-gameplay pokemons really work best on handhelds

 

 I guess I don't understand your logic on this.  Is it "just a handheld game" because it's always only been made for handhelds?  

 I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work great as a MMORPG for a console.  They have never even tried, and that's one massive pot of gold to be missing out on.
