Id say people lacking common sense should keep their mouth shut.  2 freaking million is terrible, most games can't even dream of doing 2m life time.  GT5 did 2m on a botched launch. 

GT5 will get Japan sales through bundles, most knew that already.

Oh but didnt you know GT5 is gonna sell over 15 million remember, you know like how that 40 % of people voted on here. And that it was just as big as Call of Duty and that the PS3 was gonna have a 1 million week, and that GT5 is the PS3s answer to the Kinect this holiday.

Well no it and the PS3s sales in US were a utter failure, if Black Ops came out and had a week 1 of 2 million thatd be failure despite its numbers.

Launch numbers in no way reflect what GT5 will ultimately do.

Be sensible, NA numbers and Black friday.  Why would a new release that has no discount sale superbly on BF ? games that have their price cut in half get nice sales increases not full priced titles. 

Japan as a culture is pulling away from a automotive lyfestyle. 

GT5 fianl sales will depend on Europe, where it has already broken sale records in some nations there and also in new markets that have opened up and will be grown ME Asia SA.

Now Black Friday sales don't boost week 1 sales for GT5, well what about week 2? It's also about half GT4 numbers.

GT5 will sell fine in EMEAA, but with much weaker Americas and Japan regional sales, the game will not sell as well as prior installments. 7-10 million seems right IMO, but lets wait for more data, say 10 weeks?

I'm just not going to get into further debate, most of the people in this thread already agree with what I'm saying.
