But seriously I don't see a problem with most of the spam we get because there is nothing wrong with funny threads (spam on this website is usually at least mildly humorous) especially considering we have plenty of threads with good conversation.

Now I do agree some types of spam are just annoying.  But honestly can you say you've never spammed before?

Yes. I've spammed before. I was a pretty bad spammer too.

This was a few years ago. You know what happened?

I got slapped with a ban. 

I have matured, and yet considering the fact that these are adults doing much of the spamming, I don't expect much maturation.

And I already told the problem with the spam.

It tries to conquer everything. What was once supposed to be a good discussion gets destroyed with spam. With some stupid pictures always posted by the same dozen users.

This happens. Don't try to deny it. That's why I don't like it. That's why I bloody hate it.

This bad? I've been on this site for almost 4 years, and I've never seen it this bad. An absolute explosion of it coupled with apathetic mods leads to horror.
