All Gameboy iterations do the same thing, play gameboy games. And the gameboy cannot play GBA games. So, a hardware revision is always counted.


PS2 revisions where superficial wheras the advance from GB to GB colour was significant. A slimline handheld will encourage people to re-buy but a slimline PS2 is irrelevant.

I take your point though.
