Sales seem good, reading the article back to the original sources this sounds a little bit of a caveated 'fastest' to me. For one it exludes phones so far as I can see (i.e. it's only a fastest if you exclude certain other devices) and it looks suspiciously like US only to me, too from the originating link. I know it's a nitpick, but as a European I do get tired of reading 'best, fastest' etc in all encompasing terms in articles only to then find it seems to mean in US only and that in fact some cheap rip off in China is selling three times faster.
Still mighty good sales though in US, and now I have a 360 I'll probably add a Kinect in January - maxed out with buying for December already.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
