I know nothing about servers and web page hosting....but I was wondering about something...
Could you put the forum on one server and the stats on another? It just seems to me that a lot of the refreshing happens not because people are impatiently awaiting the numbers, but because they want to see what the latest threads are. I'm sure if this could fix the problem ioi would have already done something like it.
