This is something really cool about the Wii, though. It means that Wii can come in first place altogether even if it is never in first place weekly and doesn't have any titles in the top ten.

Althoguh the bolded point is correct. Looking at, say, Sonic Colours (and looking up Wii Party) you can see whilst neither set the charts alight, they will continue simering away in the 30-50th best selling region for weeks, even months, slowly pushing the sales up and up, for many over 1 million (e.g Boom Blox)

It's why you can never EVER write a game of completely on the Wii until the console actually dies. Well, sort of
