Good observation, but I don't think Kinect gave a bigger boost then the PS3 benefited from a Slim. I mean just look at 2009 PS3 sales compared to 2008, it's almost double!
Still I agree with your hypothesis for December, but I think PS3 will follow relatively closely. Peak year for both consoles, and weakest full year for the Wii (at least since 2008).
