I haven't played SO3....I can't comment on if its good or bad but I know some people hate it and some love it too.
Alan Wake is only considered a disaster because of its development time......please tell me you did not just compare Alan Wake to star ocean 4 sales wise....doing cross genre/franchise sales comparison will waste our time.
Also....Valkyria Chronicles is considered a big success....and SO4 has outsold it...therefore......see we can do this for ages....there's not much point to it.
Lets instead compare SO4 sales to past games in its series....the decline that its seeing is hardly there...and that which is there is due to Japan. In West its done the best it ever has.

Wow, that was actully a reasonable answer for a change. yes Alan Wake was not a good comparasion. imo Alan Wake is only a diaster because the fans expected it to sell 4 or 5 mil. even thou its only sold 0.8 mil by no means bad sales.
fair enough the sales are showing an improvement, but whether or not this can continue remains to be seen with future installments. i dont really have much else to comment on tbh, the only thing is with Vallkyria Chonicles which for some reason Sega decided to put on the PSP for reasons beyond me, couldve been a bigger series imo.

Making Valkyria Chronicles 2 and 3 on PSP is a blunder....its just a huge huge shame they aren't on PS3...I can only imagine what Valkyria Chronicles 2 on PS3 with a medium marketing campaign would've sold {sigh}
