I unfortunately didn't own either game. I did play Bad Fur Day multiplayer at a friend's place quite a few times but having not played the SP component of either of those games I can't really comment. Based on my time with it, i'd sum it up as an adventure/platformer with some very mild rpg elements thrown in.
