Well of course I chose the worst images I could find on that page.
There are however some that look really good . Pretty much like in the video where some tracks looked almost pathetic while the snowy track at the very end for example looked great.
Similar things are true for the cars.
Still there shouldn't be so drastic differences in graphics. It's not like you could just skip the ugly tracks in the career mode or even the standard cars at the beginning of the game, because most of the premium cars are high end ones.
Btw. there is a member here that has this gif with the rain on the windshield driving on a dark track. That looked incredible, but when I watched that part in this vid where they tried to showcast the rain effects on a sunny track, I wasn't impressed at all.
