PS2 is probably selling well in the regions that VGChartz is having difficulty to track, the same regions that caused the rather large PS3 adjustment not to long ago. That or they're to busy with the ''current generation'', while PS2 is still selling well, more than PSP for example.

PS2 was already at 147.6m shipped by the end of september, over 12 million ahead of the DS at 135.58m. And stores are not going to stock 12 million units of a 10 year old console....
But Sony will probably release some kind of press notice when it gets to 150m, who knows could even happen by the end of the year.
