Mine wouldn't be accurate as I would often turn the console off after losing most of my lives to try to get Luigi's Purple coins to do something else but I probably lost 150 lives just on that level (plus another 50 with the green guy*).
As for Bouldergeist's daredevil run it only took me 2-3 lives as did it almost straight after doing the normal run in which I lost like 10-20 lives so I had it in my mind pretty well.
*not saying his name for the one guy under a rock who wasn't spoiled the surprise yet.
