Should be a very strong week.
Wii should be up on:
1) Walmart offering Wii (with two games) plus two additional games online for $229 ($20-70 in savings)
2) Red Wii Bundle in the Americas & Red Wii in Japan
3) Call of Duty foot traffic in the west(put 7m people in stores in a day and some will buy Wiis too)
4) Seasonality
5) Pokepark / ongoing strength of recent titles - Just Dance 2 / Wii Party / Goldeneye in particular
PS3 should be up on:
1) Call of Duty
2) Seasonality
X360 should be up on:
1) Call of Duty
2) Kinect
3) Seasonality
Its not out of the question that Wii, X360, PS3 and DS all top 400k. X360 went from 311k to 438k last year from pre-COD week to COD week. PS3 went from 322k to 407k. Wii went from 469k to 540k.
This year Wii could do 225k / 175k / 30k, PS3 150k / 200k / 20k, X360 250k / 150k / 3k. Hard to say, but its definitely not impossible for all three to be over 400k. PS3 probably has the least pushing it up this week though.
People are difficult to govern because they have too much knowledge.
