What was so great about the gameplay?  You tap the D-pad constantly during any fight and you're safe 99% of the time, with the added bonus that it charges your beam for easier kills to go alone with near-immortality.  Oh and you get auto-aim, just to suck the last bit of effort the player may have needed to win.

Yeah, but it felt fun and exhilarating. It felt to me like an adventure playing it. There was nothing wrong with the gameplay. The presentation, or the way it was executed, was poor.
