I am not sure how you come to conclusion since the initial numbers are not really impressive. I would say it was within what is expected or less. And by the way, comparing it to Move sales will not reflect the truth that Microsoft is 10 Million consoles ahead of PS3 in NA, so I would have expected more sales for Kinnect.
I would also "think" that the price tag on Kinnect will be a show stopper, and you will see it in the next weeks.
