I agree with this. Japan have always been more technologically advanced than us and if they think Consoles are a thing of the past, it really IS a thing of the past.


that is not necessarily a question of technological advancement, but rather  a question of cultural and social differences.

if you spend 2-4 hours on a train every day to get to work and back, you want to fill that time with something enjoyable, like reading or portable gaming, for example.
