When do you think ps3 will outsell 360

As for old debates, I think Squilliam, didn't you give me a link to a 2007 thread where people predicted the PS3 to outsell the 360 by 2008? I read a lo of funny posts in the thread, I should have book marked it. A lot of people on this website thought 360 was just going to die off at 30 million..LOL

The fact of the matter is there are a lot more PS3 hardcore fans on this site then 360. So people are always going to talk about PS3's "success" and when it will overtake the 360. To put it simply, this probably will just not happen, not even with a price cut to $200 on the PS3. Remember MS is actually making a profit on their 360's, Sony only started doing that recently. MS has a lot more power to price cut, and with Kinect having a 100 million dollar marketing campaign, it's looking grim for PS3.

How bout when ps3 launched there where even ppl are saying it wouldn't top 5m and die off? did you see that of course you didn't only the 360 side............

what about the ps3 will be the new dream cast and get discontinued??? did you see that? of course not......

how about those times when 360 trolls were shouting ps3 is dead and haz no gamez back in 2007??? did you catch those? no?  why I should have known......

what about sony will quit the gaming business?? no?? missed it too???

your last last paragraph is full of BS 360 die hard fans here are just as bad and as many as the others you just see PS fans as the only evil ones for some reason.

either because you missed the good ol hay day when the 360 die hard fanboys were trashing ps3 24/7 or your one of the 360 die hard fan yourself, reading your posts im going with the latter you don't need to be a genius to figure that out just look @ "ps3 is looking grim".

yeh its looking grim that why its been trashing the 360 weekly despite having no major title release(GT5)  and the GAP has shrunk to 3m, your good at hiding your 360 bias I'll give you that.

You absolutly right, a lot of people did think PS3 would die off efore reaching 5 million, and Sony proved those fools wrong. I only intended to show that people have been predicting PS3 to overtake the 360 for quite some time now, and they never do. I admit after the PS3 Slim, it's looking better for Sony, but I'm still not convinced, both systems are very popular.

I never said there weren't any die hard 360 fans, and by no means to I try to make PS3 fans look evil. I only intended to say that the number of PS3 fans (crazy evil ones, or honest sincer ones), outnumber the number of 360 fans on this website, so when people talk about PS3 in a possitive way, a lot of people jump onto the wagon, and eventually in this little online community, a small bias develops.

I missed those good old days, I only joined VGChartz early this year, never really got into forum discussions. I used to do blogs on GameTrailers, but I don't really like talking about the quality of games, I'd rather just play them. Sales are more intesting to me.

Probably shouldn't have said PS3 looks grim, thats just my opinion, and I should have stated that. Sorry. However I really doubt the PS3 will ever overtake the 360.

Difference has not shrunken to 3 million, it's 3.9 million , and the PS3 is outselling the 360 because of Move, thats a major peripheral. Before the Move I recall 360 outselling PS3, before June PS3 was dominant, before Sept 2009, it was 360, and before Sept 2008 it was slightly PS3, and before that its back and forth. At least get your facts straight, thats all I ever really try to debate in these forums.

I do admit I probably have a bit of bias towards the 360 simply because I enjoy it more. Bias can't be helped, you probably have a small PS3 bias yourself. To be fair, I'm more looking into a PS4 next gen then a 360 successor, I try to stay neutral because It's the games I care about most, and regardless of what individual people think, every console has it's share of good games...even the dreamcast, even the virtual boy for that matter..
