If developers put the effort on Wii games it will sell. Eurocom is not one of the top developers but they did a really good job with Goldeneye and that makes me want to support companies like them. Ones who put effort in Wii games.

There are plenty of developers that put effort on the Wii but still sold very little.

Goldeneye is a very poor example of what the Wii can do or not. It's the sequel/remake of what is considered by many to be the best FPS of all time.

Effort isn't good on its own, nor is lack of effort bad on its own. It's also what kind of game it is. Loads of effort on a game in genre that is unpopular, and gets no marketing, won't matter.

This is in a genre that is even popular on the Wii, and the game has marketing (MWR had none, not even the after release ads that WaW did). Of course it's selling better.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
