The Sims is in 11th, but has many expasions, I haven't seen you complaining about that.
And......... do some reaserch, look also for the biggest selling franchises of games ever.
Do you think that people buy the always 2 versions of the game??
Pokemon Pearl/Diamond are the same journey, the difference is only in the monsters you can get.
If you vanish a version "X", does it mean that the potential buyers of that version would not buy the game?
They would buy the other version.
The same goes to Nintendgs.
