You're entitled to your opinion, of course.

But 0/10? Really?

...

e, it does keep it from being a total catastrophe in the eyes of even the harshest critic, surely?

Same message to Twesterm, except that he didn't pretend to justify it.

Fine.

  • George Lucas can't write about love to save his life which is horrible since this movie is about Anakin and Padme's love
  • George Lucas can't write to save his life in general
  • The movie is just filled with stupid moments that just dont' make sense and too many to list.  Like why did an assassin hire an assassin to kill someone in a horribly complicated way?
  • The big fight at the end was boring and felt pointless.  The B1's are laughably worthless and nobody cares if a clone dies.
  • The action is overly choreographed and just feels fake.  They're neat sequences, but lack everything else.
  • Everything is done on a green screen talking to green screen characters so nothing in the entire movie feels real.  Everything feels manufactured.
  • Good actors doing a bad job with a bad script and awful actors doing an even worse job with a bad script.
  • The music was a letdown
  • Samuel L Jackson did an awful job as Mace Windu because Lucas could not have done a worse job casting him.
  • The plot is nonsensical
  • Waaaaaaaaaay too much fan service
  • C3PO

Do I need to go on?  The Phantom Menace was a giant slap in the face because it took a highly revered series and shit all over it and that's why I probably have that knee jerk OMG IT'S AWFUL!! reaction and I probably forget about this one because Phantom Menace made me almost not care about the prequels and forget how bad Attack of the Clones actually is.

So again: 0/10

I suppose this is fair justification.

Except that Samuel L. Jackson never does an awful job in any role. He's Samuel L. Jackson.
