It's my fifth favourite Star Wars movie, to put it nicely.

Really, it wasn't bad, because it's still Star Wars. In fact, it's actually good in parts - those parts being the parts filled with violent CGI goodness rather than the poor attempt at a story. Much, much, much better than Phantom Menace, but nowhere near the standards set by the original trilogy, or even Episode 3.

6.5/10

The Good:

-Christopher Lee as Count Dooku worked very well in parts.

-Palpatine was acted very well.

-Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan was as awesome as ever.

-Some fantastic battle scenes, with much better CGI than before.

-Kamino is beautifully rendered, and the clone army is suitably impressive.

-The fight with Jango Fett is fantastic.

-Mace Motherf***ing Windu.

-CGI Yoda.

The Bad:

-Creepy paedophilic sexual tension between Padmé and Anakin. Really, that whole relationship is just utter shit, and for some reason, it's one of the main focuses of the movie.

-Jar Jar Binks. Again. Reduced role, though, which is nice.

-Hayden Christensen is incapable of putting any intonation in his voice or placing the correct emphasis on words, and ends up sounding like a complete moron.

-Most pathetic ending to a Star Wars movie, and perhaps one of the most pathetic endings to any movie, ever.

- The story is really quite cringeworthy in places.

-Count Dooku is just about the least intimidating person in the entire franchise. Padme Amidala is more intimidating. Not to say he was a bad character, just a really bad Sith Lord.
