Bad person? I don't know nearly enough about you to decide that, perhaps you have a slew of redeeming qualitites? Who knows. Anyway, I just wanted to chirp in that I understand the part about not being on speaking terms with a sibling, I haven't spoken a word with my little sister for nearly four years and can't stand to even be in the same room with her. I also barely have any contact at all with the rest of my family because of her.
Siblings, or family as a whole, do not automatically go well together.
