Actually, I should put California on the list i did above... well near the bottom as they seem to bland up everything. Even the Pizza is thin as paper and lacks a proper amount sauce. Texas has some decent BBQ. Some areas of the country though, or if you just know the right person... BBQ can be amazing. Well done ribs or a pulled pork/beef sandwhich? Isn't anything better in my opinion. Espiecially if with the sandwhich you throw some well made coleslaw on top. |
NY has some of the best BBQ in the US. Heck right here in Syracuse, we have the local Dinosaur BBQ which is famous for their ribs and pulled pork. Most people who come in for work (from out of state) typically ask me how to get down there so they can go over lunch. They actually opened one of their stores (now 4 I believe) in NYC, so you could even get some good BBQ there too. The Syracuse resturant featured in Man vs. Food this year
