Who says that MHP3 will ever hit (on the Wii)?

Reminds me of those posts that where listening Ni no Kuni Wii and unannounced Level 5 Wii project for a late 2010/11 release.

I don't see the point in it beside giving yourself hope that things will change.

Who says MHP3 will ever hit on Wii?  I certainly didn't. ;)

Level-5 has (wisely) sidestepped Wii/PSP/PS3 in favor of 3DS it's looking like.  Hino's the smartest man in Japan.

Ninokuni is quite possibly the most expensive Level-5 game to date

Saying they have side-stepped the Ps3 is inaccurate considering WKC2 and Ninokuni coming up.

I think Ninokuni is their attempt at creating their own big worldwide brand, like the Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, Pokemon series.

Well obviously Ninokuni's the most expensive L5 game to date, it's been in development over 3 years now and they're working with Studio Ghibli on it.  That shit ain't cheap.  :P

Speaking of Ninokuni though, you're aware it started out PS3 only, and they decided to do a DS version later to recoup it's costs, right?  Honestly the way it's looking, the game will probably be their first and last self-published PS3 game (same deal for IE Strikers on Wii and LBX on PSP).  3DS is the future, and Level-5 is ready...

L-5 already has a premier worldwide brand too, in Professor Layton.  Inazuma Eleven has lots of potential too... worldwide, I doubt Ninokuni (DS or PS3) will outsell either series' top sellers.

Level-5 is also trying to make Ninokuni a premiere worldwide brand, they aren't just going to give up on it.

And to do that they need the PS3 version to succeed a lot, in Japan and in the West.

3DS may be the future or it may not.....that isn't proven yet. Once upon a time the PS3/N64 was the future and the surefire king of the next generation.
