One thing I would like is some new, young actors. Nobody had heard of Mark Hamill or Carrie Fisher before Star Wars. Harrison Ford was more famous, but he wasn't really a household name until Star Wars. I have no desire to see Leonardo DiCaprio in a Star Wars movie, nor (ugh) Shia LaBeouf, nor Michael Cera, nor any other overly famous and utterly talentless (well, Leonardo isn't talentless, but you get the point) actors.
Some fantastic CGI, like in Episode 3.
A coherent plot, unlike in Episode 3. No "really? Why the hell would that happen?" moments. Dying of a broken heart?
Yoda (Ghost yoda? Yoda's son? I don't know)
There was some subplot in some strange vaguely canon novel about Sith plants on some faraway planet which gave birth to the Sith Lords. Definitely not that.
How about, there's a nice Republic and Jedi and everyone's happy, but one person isn't happy and discovers the Dark Side of the Force in a tomb somewhere and uses it and creates an evil rebellion?
I don't know! I'm not the one who's been nominated for four Oscars!
