Sony purchase seems unlikely to me. Poor corporate fit, expensive purchase and Apple'd be buying a company still struggling to sort itself out. Plus they'd need to pick through local goverment rules, etc.
Yeah, they could fastrack into TVs and the like but they'd still need to sort out a lot of overlapping portable/computer products and, perhaps most negatively, it would seriously change the Apple brand. Apple is Macs, iPads, etc. Not PCs and general electronics.
Adobe I could see but again it's so PC centric as well.
Disney... well, Jobs in already in place there to an extent so I guess he'd know whether it makes sense.
I guess is they are looking at a big purchase we'll hear about it soon enough... such things almost always leak... but for now this seems like a pretty early and without merit rumour.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
