SONY are at their weakest in real terms financially since they began.
The CELL and BLURAY combo have taken their toll on the company spreadsheet. Ten years from now if Blu Ray takes out DVD it could be a real money spinner. Its just the strategy has left SONY massively exposed for takeover.
I guess Apple buying into the TV making business is a smart move. Imagine TV with Apple TV inbuilt.
Quick way into the living room.
I dont see the Japanese taking this lying down though.
More likely a merger to help save face.
