I don't buy that one bit. There are only a couple hundred thousand preorders in NA. EU will obviously have way more, but no where near enough to justify 7 million for launch. If Fallout 3 could ship 5 Million at launch
GT5 for sure can ship 7 Million at launch......it has much more hype and interest than Fallout 3 ever had.

Except Fallout 3 is multiplat so that makes 2.5 mil shipped per console.

And it reached 5 Million combined over 6 months to a year after its launch.....so that shipment lasted a looooong time.
Being multiplat doesn't change the point I'm making
Fallout 3 has sold 5.6 Million LTD......5 Million of that was shipped at launch and its gonna be 2 years since its launch very soon.

Yeah but it STILL hasn't sold that 5 Million launch shipment.....it surely took at least 4 - 5 months

I totally agree
and especially regarding PS3....because previously in those regions Playstation system software sales were majorly hampered due to piracy.
With PS3 there is no piracy thats why its safe to assume these usual big franchise games *should* be performing better than ever in those regions
