This.

Especially Sony for symbolic reasons (becasue I would love to see the Sony fans of today feel what it's like to be a Sega fan), and becasue they actually suceeded to drive out another games company using that strategy, which is not cool.

Typical Sega fanboy drivel. Sega is out because they fucked up. I know this incredibly hard to accept but maybe it's time to take down your Sonic shrine, and accept that Sega made some big mistakes in the years leading up to the dreamcast launch that were exasberated by the successful launch of the ps2.

If Sony wouldn't have been in the video game industry, third parties would have had to choose between the N64 and the Saturn wich would have meant that Sega would have survived.

Also, Sony did do stuff like paying third parties so that games like Tomb Raider, that were Saturn exclusive went multiplat, and then they made deals so that the sequels became PS1 exclusive, it made things so much worse for Sega. They forced Sega into a war of financial attricion that Sega couldn't possibly win.

I LOVE ICELAND!
